Super Bowl LII: Anheuser-Busch Makes History – And A Better World

The Big Game is coming up, and before we get fired up with rivalries, we wanted to take a moment to recognize two of our recently-released Super Bowl LII commercials. This year, we’re making history by devoting not one, but TWO of our iconic spots to highlighting our commitment to create a Better World.

On January 16th we launched our Stella Artois Super Bowl commercial, which asks consumers to make their Super Bowl party matter in partnership with Water.org. Since Stella began its work with Water.org three years ago, they have helped more than 1 million people around the world gain access to clean water. This is something we’re very proud of, and a number we hope to keep growing this Super Bowl season.

The second of our Better World commercials, Budweiser’s ‘Stand By You,’ featuring our colleagues at the Cartersville brewery launched on Friday. Super Bowl is obviously a huge moment for Anheuser-Busch and for our country and this year we are very proud to recognize all those that play a part in our Emergency Drinking Water Program. The program has delivered an incredible 79 million cans of emergency drinking water since 1988, and it wouldn’t be possible without your help.

While we are very excited about our commercials, we also recognize that this is a moment not just for story-telling and celebration, but to commit to doing more to help our communities in the most practical way we can. That’s why we were delighted to announce that by the end of this year we will upgrade our brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado, so that it can switch from beer production to water production when needed. This will enable us to respond quicker to requests from communities hit by natural disasters from coast to coast.

We believe it’s our duty to give back to the communities we live and work in here and around the world. We are proud to use a big moment like the Super Bowl to communicate our commitment and to thank you, our wholesaler partners, for making these programs possible.
